There are very few girls playing eve, it is a fair bet that every one of us has been on the receiving end of a nasty/pervy comment or two.
We don't complain about this we just accept that it's a small idiot minority and move on. Why shouldn't there be an area that ladies can congregate safe in the knowledge that no one will say "what colour are your knickers?"?

There are hundreds of channels where people with something in common gather and no one is going to complain that the minmatar knitting league have a password on theirs.

Personally I've noticed that majority of women who get offended when they hear "pervy comments" as you put it, aren't really that popular amongst the alpha males anyway.
